A Port Elizabeth policeman is expected to appear in court on Monday in connection with a false bomb threat at a branch of Absa Bank.
The 38-year-old man was off-duty when he entered a branch of the bank in Greenacres Shopping Centre last month.
He allegedly indicated to bank personnel that he would activate an explosive device if his demands were not met.
Police did not reveal what his demands were.
The man was denied bail during his previous court appearance.
