Police in Graaff-Reinet are investigating a case of murder after a male nurse was found dead in his home in Bergendal.
The 43-year-old Mvusi Diamond worked at the Midland's Hospital in town.
Spokesperson Captain Bradley Rawlinson says police were summoned to the scene on Sunday afternoon after a complaint was called in about a stabbing incident.
He says when police arrived they found Diamond's lifeless body with a stab wound to his neck.
The circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet clear and no arrests have been made.
