Members of the National Prosecuting Authority will be visiting schools in Nelson Mandela Bay this week.
NPA spokesperson, Mthunzi Mhaga, says they've initiated a schools programme where they are educating learners about being vigilant about the potential dangers associated with social media sites, like Facebook.
He cited the recent case of Thabo Bester, dubbed the Facebook Rapist, who was jailed for 50 years for targetting his victims on the social networking site.
Mhaga says they will be visiting Cowan and Newell High Schools in New Brighton on Thursday and Friday.
" We will also be talking about the children's act, since children younger than 16 engaging in sexual acts will both be charged. We will also be talking about mob justice where a lot of youth are used" Mhaga said.
