No truth in rumours that Jayde Panayiotou's father-in-law has been arrested - Lawyer

The lawyer for a close family member of slain Uitenhage teacher Jayde Panayiotou, says rumours that her farther-in-law was arrested on Friday evening, are completely false and incorrect.

Alwyn Griebenouw told Algoa FM News that he was in consultation with family members on Saturday morning, and that Jayde's father-in-law was also present.

"Rumours that Jayde's father-in-law was arrested are totally incorrect, and is leading to a lot of unhappiness - not only with the deceased's family, but also other family members who are involved in this matter" Griebenouw said.
