Several areas in East London are without electricity, following an explosion at a substation in Cambridge on Wednesday morning.
Municipal spokesperson, Keith Ngesi, says electricians are working on the problem, but they cannot say when the power supply will be restored.
The affected areas include Nahoon, Vincent, Selbourne, Amalinda, Highgate, Cambridge, Baysville and Southernwood.
Meanwhile, we have heard that Grahamstown is also without power.
