NMBM Executive Mayor, Jordaan to deliver his maiden State of the Metro address

Nelson Mandela Bay Executive Mayor, Danny Jordaan will mark his first year in office on Thursday, by delivering his maiden State of the Metro address.

He's expected to unveil his administration's developmental plans for the next five years which he has dubbed the Five Golden Years.

Jordaan's speech comes just days after Council adopted the Metro's 10.9 billion rand budget.

On Wednesday, he also doled out 463 title deeds to housing beneficiaries in Walmer Township, many of who have been waiting for up to ten years for this.

Jordaan said despite the length of time taken, the Metro was settling a very important issue.
