The Nelson Mandela Bay Council has postponed two more meetings scheduled for this week.
Metrominute reports that speaker Maria Hermans postponed Tuesday's Budget and Treasury Committee meeting and Wednesday's joint meeting of Budget and Treasury and the Mayoral Committee at which the Adjustments Budget for 2012/2013 would have been presented.
No reason has been advanced for the postponements.
On Monday, a special council meeting was cancelled just two hours before it was scheduled to start, the second time this has happened within the space of a week.
Yesterday, the Democratic Alliance in the Bhisho legislature called for national intervention in the Nelson Mandela Bay Council.
