Two Nelson Mandela Bay traffic officers have been jailed for a combined 10 years after being found guilty of corruption.
Forty-three-year-old Nociselo Ncapai and 47-year-old Mzukisi Mrara were jailed in the Port Elizabeth Commercial Crimes Court on Thursday.
Leave to appeal against both the conviction and sentence was also refused.
Ncapai was convicted on two counts of corruption and sentenced on each count to seven years in jail, of which three years were suspended for a period of five years.
Mrara was found guilty on three counts of corruption and jailed for an effective six years.
