New president for EP Cricket

Donovan May is the new president of Eastern Province Cricket.

May is a former president of EP cricket and is back in the hot seat, after winning Saturday’s general elections at St Georges Park in Port Elizabeth.

He is a member of VP Pirates and was voted in, ahead of Gary Paul and another former President, Gary Sauls.

Dr Malcolm Figg withdrew his nomination to stand late last week.

James Oosthuizen of Despatch was voted in as May’s Vice President.
