The National Energy Regulator will hold public hearings on Eskom's Regulatory Clearing Account application in all provinces for the third year of the multi-year price determination.
Eskom has applied for an RCA balance of R22.8 billion.
The hearing in the Eastern Cape will take place in Port Elizabeth on the 20th of this month, at the ETC Training Conference Centre in Straundale.
The meeting will start from half-past eight in the morning until five o'clock.
Public hearings will run from next week Monday to the fifth of February in all 9 provinces.
NERSA Head of Communications, Charles Hlebela encourages the public to attend the hearing as they play an important role in the outcome of the application.
"It is important for the public and the stakeholders to participate in these public hearings as their views and comments are taken into consideration before making the final decision" he said
