Eastern Cape police have released the names of the seven victims of Wednesday evening's horror crash outside Uitenhage between a car and a truck.
Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Marianette Olivier says they were from Algoa Park and Bethelsdorp in Port Elizabeth.
The deceased were 64 -year old Jester Maartin, 38-year old Rosina Beukes, 36-year old Mary-Ann Jonker and her husband Victor, as well as 34-year old Sonia Maartin and her two sons, 4-year old Jayden and 5-year old Showin.
She says it is alleged that they were visiting family in Jansenville and were on their way home.
A 4-year old girl is still in a critical condition in the Dora Nginza Hospital.
