A woman whose naked body was found in bushes in Uitenhage earlier this month has finally been identified.
Police Spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says she was identified by family members last week as the 25-year-old Sanda Mjuza.
A post mortem revealed that Mjuza, who lived in the area, was strangled to death.
A community member discovered Mjuza's body in the bushes near Ross Gradwell Street on the 2nd of May.
Swart says she had multiple scratch marks on her body, indicating that she had been dragged through the bushes.
She says police still have no new leads in the murder investigation.
