An Eastern Cape man arrested in the Western Cape for the murder of an East London woman, Busisiwe Ngwadla, has appeared in court in Cape Town.
According to police the matter was postponed to Monday for arrangements to be made for his transportation to the Eastern Cape.
The 50-year-old man is expected to appear in court in East London on the first of April.
Police said he disappeared after the 37-year-old Ngwadla's body was found in her Amalinda flat in February with multiple stab wounds.
He was identified in an earlier identikit issued by police as Mpiriri Matika who is also known as Ayanda.
Matika was in a relationship with Ngwadla.
