Much needed rain 'skips' catchment areas


The  Port Elizabeth branch of the SA weather service is reporting that welcome rainfall over the Eastern Cape, up to 8 o'clock on Tuesday morning, was around 15 mm, with some good heavier falls in places like Addo and Grahamstown with over 30 mm.

In the catchment areas of Nelson Mandela Bay's main supply dams, a disappointing 1mm was measured at Kareedouw and 15 mm at Patensie.
