Police Minister, Nathi Mthetwa, will lead a delegation of Ministers to Sterkspruit and Molteno in the Eastern Cape on Tuesday
The Ministry says the visit is aimed at "stabilising the area" ahead of the May 7 elections.
According to a government statement this is the third of a series of visits that Ministers in the Justice and Crime Prevention Cluster are conducting in different provinces.
Previous visits had been conducted in KwaZulu- Natal and Western Cape.
Residents of Sterkspruit have been campaigning since last year for their own municipality, saying they no longer want to be part of the Senqu Municipality, which incorporates Lady Grey.
