Learners at Mthatha's Jonguhlanga Secondary School moved into the digital age on Friday.
That's with the donation of a mobile computer centre and free data, thanks to a public private partnership between the Department of Communications and cellular company, Vodacom.
Deputy Communications Minister, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, said such partnerships are critical if government is to offer quality education to learners and to schools.
School principal, Nombuyiselo Boya says the mobile computer centre will expose her learners to the internet and will help improve the quality of education offered by the school.
