A Twenty nine year old Mozambican citizen has appeared in the town's magistrates' court in connection with a string of burglaries at Vleesbaai.
Police spokesperson, Captain Bernadine Steyn, says the suspect was arrested in bushes near the settlement last week.
He has been charged with five counts of burglary and one of the possession of stolen goods.
Steyn says the suspect will remain in custody until his next court appearance on the 19th of January.
