The four kidnapped Moti brothers have been reunited with their parents.
National police spokesperson Brigadier Vish Naidu says the children were randomly dropped off late last night in Vuwani.
He says the kidnapping case is still under investigation and a forensic team and psychologists will be dispatched to the family on Thursday.
Brigadier Naidu says the children went to the first house they could find and one of the kids recognised the boys.
He says police arranged a doctor who confirmed that the children were in good health before they were handed over to their parents.
The brothers also appeared to be in high spirits during the reunion with their parents
In a statement on the Facebook page of the family's business, Auto Moti, the family said late last night that the boys had been reunited with their parents.
Police are searching for seven suspects who kidnapped the children on their way to school three weeks ago.
The children, who are all learners at a primary school in Dalmada were forcefully removed from their scholar transport by the group of men armed with rifles.
The 64-year-old driver allegedly fetched the kids from Nirvana and was driving along the R37 near the N1 bypass when he was blocked by two vehicles.
The suspects were dressed in white overalls and randomly started firing shots, before forcing the children to get out of the car.
The siblings were driven away in a Mercedes Benz that drove towards the R81.
Police later found the victims' cellphones dumped at Flora Park.
The children were dropped off about 160km from where they were abducted.
