A 28-year-old mother of two has died following a car accident in Mossel Bay.
Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Pieter Koekemoer says Rumeque Taute was a passenger in a maroon Honda that was hit by a white Nissan Bakkie at around half past seven last night.
He says the driver and three occupants in the bakkie were treated for light injuries.
Koekemoer says Taute was declared dead on the scene.
The Bakkie was reportedly driving in the direction of Mossel Bay in Louis Fourie Road when it crashed into the Honda that was turning into Essenhout Street.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
