Mother and daughter questioned following double murder in Heidelberg

Police have taken a woman and her daughter in for questioning, following the double murder of a couple from Heidelberg in the Western Cape.

The victims have been identified as 62-year old George Michaels and his 64-year old girlfriend, Elizabeth Rudolph.

Their bodies were discovered on Saturday shortly after midnight in Michaels' home.

They were both attacked with a sharp object.

A neighbour alerted the police and informed them about the incident.
