A 49-year-old woman from Dana Bay who allegedly fired gunshots at four Municipal workers from Mossel Bay Municipality will appear in court on Monday.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Kappie Kapp says the incident happened on Thursday in E Lutea Street at around 4 pm.
He says the men walked past the suspect’s house when she asked them what they were doing there. According to Kapp, the contract workers didn’t answer her. The woman allegedly went back into her home and came out with a firearm.
Sergeant Kapp says she then allegedly fired five shots at the victims.
The suspect remains in custody and will be charged with attempted murder and pointing a firearm.
