A Mossel Bay woman is set to appear in the Mossel Bay Regional Court on Thursday on charges of murdering her husband.
The 62-year-old suspect, Anna du Plessis, is accused of killing 49-year-old, Martin du Plessis with a .38 special revolver.
The allege murder occurred in their Heiderand home on 7 May, 2015.
Mossel Bay police spokesperson, Pieter Koekemoer says, on the night of the murder, police were called out just before midnight to attend to the crime scene.
He says du Plessis had one gun wound to his chest.
It is alleged that the couple had an argument shortly before the killing.
Du Plessis’s wife, who was released on bail, is expected to plead on the murder charge against her.
