A teenage boy from Mossel Bay has been convicted in the Mokopane Magistrate's Court of the murder of a farm couple in Limpopo.
Beeld newspaper reports that the 16-year-old pleaded guilty on Friday to the murders of 69-year old Will Kiesling, and his 66-year old wife, Anje, as well as the theft of a gun, two cellphones and the couple's bakkie.
The proceedings were held behind closed doors because the boy is a minor.
He is expected to be sentenced on January 7.
The boy was arrested at his guardian's house in Mossel Bay in March.
He initially appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court, and the matter was transferred to Mokopane because the bodies of the couple were discovered on their farm near Lephalale.
