A teenage girl from Mossel Bay was murdered in the early hours of Sunday morning when she was attacked and robbed by three men.
Police have identified the victim as the 17-year-old Michaela Booysen.
Police say Booysen was walking home with her boyfriend at around 03:20 am when the suspects attacked them in Dywili Street in Asla Park.
She was struck on the head with a sharp object before the suspects robbed her of her black Nike shoes and ran away.
Her boyfriend managed to escape unharmed.
According to police Booysen died from a head injury.
The three suspects are still at large and KwaNonqaba police have opened a murder docket.
