Mossel Bay police are investigating the rape of a 25-year-old woman by two men who are said to be friends of her boyfriend.
Correspondent Louise Karsten reports that the case is in the hands of the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.
According to the investigating officer, the woman walked home from work when she was approached by the two men.
She told the police that she knew and trusted them as they were befriended with her boyfriend.
They walked her home after which she was allegedly raped by both men.
According to sources the suspects were under the influence of drugs when the rape occurred.
The suspects will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate court on Monday.
Meanwhile, a man from Riversdale is scheduled to appear in court on Monday for the rape of a 30-year-old woman with whom he shares a house.
