Mossel Bay man arrested for mom's murder and arson

 The son of a 58-year-old woman from Mossel Bay has been arrested after the charred remains of the victims' body was found between the rubble of her burned down house.

Police members from the Great Brak River Police station, arrested the 27-year-old man on Wednesday.

He allegedly set the house alight by using a candle.

The suspect will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's court on Thursday on charges of arson and murder.
