Mossel Bay bookkeeper in court for allegedly defrauding old age home

A former bookkeeper from Mossel Bay's biggest old age home is set to apear in the town's regional court on Monday after she was arrested by the Hawks in June. The bookkeeper faces charges of theft and fraud amounting to R600 000.
Captain Lloyd Ramovha says the woman allegedly manipulated the records and registers, in an attempt to hide her tracks.
The 38-year-old is accused of stealing the money from the old age home over a period of three years.
She's expected to enter a plea on Monday court proceedings.
