Mossel Bay announced as top municipality in country

The Countries top performing municipalities have been announced by the Good Governance Performance Index which was released earlier this week.

In the list of the top 20, 12 municipalities were in the Western Cape with Mossel Bay taking the top spot.

The MEC for local government in the Western Cape Anton Bredell says the Index, which is an independent think tank, looks at three aspects; the quality of administration, economic development, and service delivery.
