More good rainfall was recorded over large parts of the Eastern Cape at the weekend, with significant falls along the Garden Route.
The SA Weather Service in Gqeberha says in the past three days up until 08:00 on Monday, 42mm was measured at the Kouga Dam, 25 at Patensie and 19 at Kareedouw in the Langkloof - which is Nelson Mandela Bay's main catchment area.
Spokesperson, Garth Sampson says 92mm was recorded in George, while the heavy rain also caused flooding in Mossel Bay.
He says in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, between 11mm and 44mm fell.
Sampson says inland, 44mm was measured at Bhiso, 34 in Makhanda, 33 at Mthatha, and 21mm at Komani.
Elsewhere along the coast, East London received 49mm and Port Alfred 12mm.
