A missing woman whose body was discovered in the Great-Brak River this week was identified as 54-year-old Joan Singrew.
Her family took to social media following the discovery of her body.
Singrew, a resident of Rosemoor in George, was last seen at her home on November 21st around 7:30 a.m.
When she never showed up for work at 11 o'clock, her daughter reported her missing at the Conville police station the same day.
Conville police found her body on Monday in a bushy footpath area.
Police are investigating a case of murder, and no arrests have been made.
