Port Elizabeth police are banking on video footage from an ATM to assist them in the search for a teacher who has been reported missing.
The station commissioner of the Kabega Park police station, Colonel Lester Brass, is personally leading a team investigating the disappearance of 28 year-old, Jayde Panayiotou.
Warrant Officer, Alwin Labans, has confirmed that money had been withdrawn from her bank account at an ATM in Kwanobuhle, Uitenhage.
Panayiotou's sister, Toni Inggs, told Algoa FM News that Jayde was last seen outside her residential complex, Stellen Glen, in Deacon Road in Kabega Park at about half past six on Tuesday morning.
She said that her sister had been waiting for her daily lift to Uitenhage, where she is a teacher at Riebeeck College.
The family is offering a reward for information.
