The body of missing Johannesburg surf-ski paddler, Mark Feather, has been found at Trennery's on the Eastern Cape Wild Coast.
East London police spokesperson, captain John Fobian says hikers came across the body on Monday morning and alerted authorities.
Forty-three-year-old Feather had been missing since Saturday after taking part in the Pete Marlin Surf-ski Race, between Orient Beach and Yellow Sands in East London.
Fobian says Trennery's is some 100-kilometres north of where Feather was initially reported missing.
"We received information from members of the public and can confirm that the body has been recovered. He will be taken to a government mortuary to determine the cause of death. The information will be added to the inquest docket" he said
