Three men in their early 20s were killed after their bakkie plunged down a cliff off a gravel road near Voëlklip just off the Herold's Bay Road in Herald Bay outside George.
ER-24 paramedics, along with Metro services, were called to the scene by the local authorities late on Sunday.
Spokesperson Russel Meiring, once on scene, paramedics found that a bakkie had plunged roughly 100 metres down a cliff and had come to rest against some large rocks.
Meiring says using rope rescue equipment, rescue workers and paramedic made their way down the cliff to the bakkie where they found the bodies of the men still trapped inside the vehicle.
Their names have not yet been released.
Meiring says the men had been missing since Saturday.
