A University of Fort Hare student who has been missing since August has been found.
The University said in a brief statement on its Twitter account on Monday, that 23-year-old Thandolwethu Ngolo, was found last week and is currently under medical observation.
The third-year Bachelor of Education student was reported missing after being dropped off at a Johannesburg taxi rank en route to Tembisa.
Fort Hare said that its Student Affairs Department was looking into how best to support Ngolo.
No further details were made available and the institution also said it would no longer be commenting any further on the matter.
