Detectives in Fort Beaufort are searching for a local woman who went missing last Friday and was last seen in the company of her boyfriend.
Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Siphokazi Mawisa says 24-year-old Zintle Takane was last seen at 9 pm with her boyfriend at Mike Valley.
She says it is alleged that Takane left with him in his white Mercedes Benz.
Police say it is the last time anybody has heard from Takane and her boyfriend could also not be traced.
Lt Col Mawisa asked anyone who can assist in tracing Takane or her boyfriend to contact the investigating officer Detective Constable Siphosoxolo Luvatsha on 066 320 6084
