An EC councillor who was reported missing on the 31st of August has been found alive and well.
The 30-year-old Nolundi Ludidi allegedly managed to travel from Fort Beaufort to King Williams Town where she was found on Wednesday afternoon.
Ludidi serves in the special programmes unit at the Mhlontlo Local Municipality which falls under the OR Tambo District.
She was also a former ANC Youth League OR Tambo regional treasurer.
Tonjeni said they initially investigating a missing person report which later changed to a kidnapping.
He says Ludidi was immediately taken to a place of safety where she was medically examined and counselled.
The investigation into her disappearance continues.
