Mercedes-Benz strike over

 Striking workers at Mercedes-Benz South Africa in East London will be back at work on Tuesday.

The regional secretary of the Metal Workers Union, Numsa, Phumzile Nondongwe, says this follows an agreement with Mercedes Benz management.

Around a thousand workers downed tools on Friday and embarked on an unprotected strike, following disagreement over protective clothing for workers.
