Two men who allegedly robbed a Dutch couple at gunpoint last week have been arrested and will remain in custody.
The couple was returning to their car near the Map of Africa viewpoint when they were approached by two gunmen.
Spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies says the men stole the couple's phones and wallets before slashing the tyres of their vehicle.
He says their investigation led them to a house in George the following day where the stolen goods were recovered.
Sergeant Spies says two toy guns were found at the scene as well as one zip gun.
He says the men aged 23 and 38 were arrested later.
They will be back in court on the 8th of October and are facing charges for the possession of stolen goods.
More charges could be added.
