Two men are expected to appear in court in Addo on Tuesday in connection with a spate of burglaries in the area.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, says police were acting on a tip-off when they arrested the men in the Nomathamsanqua area in Addo on Saturday.
She says police also discovered several suitcases containing clothing, electronic equipment worth more than R2000 000 as well as an unlicensed .38 revolver and ammunition.
Swart has appealed to burglary victims in the Addo area to contact their local police station.
She says the suspects faces three burglary charges as well as the illegal possession of an unlicensed firearm.
