Eastern Cape police are investigating a double murder and attempted murder following a shooting incident on the Mdantsane Access Road in the early hours of this morning.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli says when police arrived at the murder scene they found the bodies of two men inside a silver VW Polo with an injured woman in the back.
He says the woman was taken to hospital.
Nkohli says the details are a bit sketchy at the moment but police suspect that a white Ford Bakkie and Polo were involved in the shooting.
He says police also found a firearm on one of the deceased and it has since been established that the gun was stolen in Beacon Bay three years ago.
A case of murder and attempted murder is under investigation.
The names of the deceased will only be released once the next of kin have been informed.
