Police have arrested two people, aged 50 & 62, for dealing in dagga in the Butterworth area.
Spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says more than 110 dagga plants were found in the gardens of their homes, and its street value is said to be around R9,600.
Manatha says some loose dagga was also found in the home of the 62-year-old man, who has clashed with the law before over dealing in dagga.
They will appear in the Butterworth Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Meanwhile a Cape Town man, believed to be a teacher, has appeared in court for the alleged possession of 150 dagga plants with an estimated street value of R250 000.
Graeme Carr was released on bail of R3,000 by the Wynberg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
He was arrested on Friday after a week of surveillance at his Kenilworth home.
