Eastern Cape MEC for Human Settlements, Safety and Liaison, Helen Sauls-August has praised police divers for their work in recovering all 5 bodies of the drowing victims of the Motherwell Rugby Club.
Yesterday, police divers found the last missing body near Sunday's River mouth.
Sauls-August says the divers showed bravery, and worked under difficult weather conditions, but still managed to find all five bodies.
She says the character and bravery shown by the officers during the Bluewater Bay tragedy is what they envisage for the entire police service in the province.
The MEC also sent her condolences to the families of the victims.
