Eastern Cape Local Government and Traditional Affairs MEC, Mlibo Qoboshiyane will embark on a fact-finding mission in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro on Saturday, following a string of violent protests in the area.
His spokesperson, Mvusi Sicwetsha says Metro Leaders will accompany the MEC on his visit to Chatty, to assess the damage caused by petrol bombs, which guttered three houses.
Sicwetsha says the MEC will later have a meeting with local leaders and members of the community in a bid to resolve issues.
