ANC Secretary General, Gwede Mantashe, will be visiting Sarah Baartman Region this weekend for the Imvuselelo Campaign.
This seeks to re-evaluate the state of the ANC and for leaders to communicate with people about the issues that confront the party at present.
Mantashe will also deliver a memorial lecture on the late ANC President, Oliver Reginal Tambo.
Sarah Baartman ANC Regional Secretary, Skarra Njadayi, said the visit will be divided between the two days.
He said Mantashe will be engaging with the community at the KwaNomzamo Hall in Humansdorp on Saturday and on Sunday he will be visiting the Methodist Church in Tsitsikama.
Njadayi said the visit is especially important because of the 2019 local elections coming up and for political education.
