Police in Gqeberha are searching for the gunmen who shot and killed four men in a car in Zwide on Friday night.
Captain Andre’ Beetge said the shooting occurred in Sompontsha Street, where police found the bodies of three deceased inside a WV Polo.
He said the driver was taken to Dora Nginza hospital, but later passed away due to the wounds he sustained.
“The motive for the murders is being investigated,” Beetge said.
He said the names of the victims cannot be released yet as formal identifications need to be conducted.
The case is being investigated by the EC Province Organised Crime Investigation Unit.
