Eastern Cape police are searching for a 40-year-old man they believe could assist them in solving a triple murder at an initiation school earlier this month.
Provincial police spokesperson, warrant officer Majola Nkohli, says they are appealing to the public for help in tracing Zibekile Nkata, who he says could assist in the probe.
On 5 December a gunman opened fire on four brothers at an initiation school in Ngqamakhwe, killing three siblings and wounding a fourth.
Nkohli says anyone who may know Nkata's whereabouts should contact their nearest police station or the crime stop number.
In an earlier statement, SAPS said three brothers, two of whom were initiates, were killed while a fourth was wounded in the 5 December shooting.
The incident happened in the Ngcwazi Administrative Area.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist with the whereabouts of Nkata is urged to contact, the lead investigating officer on 079 408 9104 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
