Police in Nxuba (formerly Cradock) are looking for a man who is wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of man whose body was found earlier this week on a farm house near town.
Local police were summoned to a crime scene on Wednesday at a house situated along the R390 between Hofmeyr and Nxuba.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli has identified the victim as 65-year-old Matthys van Niekerk.
He says they are now looking for 28-year-old Andrew Kroukamp who might assist them in the investigation and is wanted for questioning.
Any person who might know of Kroukamp's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
Shortly after the murder, van Niekerk's bakkie was found abandoned on Conway Street in Hofmeyr.
