A man from Willowvale rushed his wife to a clinic in Dutywa moments after allegedly stabbing her in the chest.
Police Spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha says the couple had a misunderstanding on Sunday afternoon when the husband grabbed a knife.
He says when the 46-year-old husband realised that his wife was bleeding profusely he decided to take her to the Dutywa Health Centre.
The 33-year-old woman was declared dead on arrival.
The husband will appear in the Willowvale Magistrates court on Tuesday on a charge of murder.
