A 29 year old man will appear in court in Mossel Bay on Wednesday in connection with the murder 65-year-old Ria Mills.
Police spokesperson, captain Malcolm Pojie, says the man was initially taken in for questioning but has since been linked to the crime after police recovered Mills' stolen cellphone.
Police found Mills' body on her farm on Saturday after she failed to show up for a dinner appointment with friends. She had a bullet wound to the neck.
Her stolen bakkie was recovered near the Wolwedans Dam on Sunday morning.
Pojie says the suspect will face a charge of murder.
