A dispute over an elderly man's wish to change his name has led to the arrest of five family members for his murder.
Police spokesperson captain Jackson Manatha, says the 72-year-old man's relatives appeared in court on Monday.
Manatha says their arrests follows the discovery of the decomposed body of Nethisa Damane by hunters in mountains around Willowvale in the middle of last month.
Family members who were suspicious about his death prompted police to probe further which then led to the arrest of several other family members.
Manatha says they were remanded in custody where their case was postponed to next Tuesday.
